St. Martin’s Episcopal School

Episcopal schools focus on the whole person, balancing tradition, academic excellence and spiritual wisdom. In 1959, a school was established as an outreach of St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church and the first kindergarten class consisted of 45 Brookhaven children. Today, St. Martin’s Episcopal School (SMES) is a co-educational day school serving approximately 635 students from 2-years-old through 8th grade. Through intellectual adventures, extracurricular opportunities and spiritual formation, St. Martin’s is dedicated to graduating well-rounded individuals ready to wholeheartedly embrace life. A number of families whose children attend SMES are also members of St. Martin’s.
